Bio of Cult TV Camera Man to be Published

Fantom Films will release a book concerning the life of BBC cameraman Fred Hamilton, a man who worked on series such as Z Cars, Doomwatch, Colditz and a whole bunch of Doctor Who from the Patrick Troughton to Tom Baker eras.

Zoom in When You See the Tears: 30 Adventurous Years at the BBC will be a book that shows and describes a man’s complete body of work, from Fred working early on in sport programmes and being assigned for the news to such locales as the jungles of Borneo, Vietnam and the Middle East.

The book also chronicles his time working on drama shows such as Doomwatch, Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Paul Temple and , shows that definitely are a bit of Cult Britannia in themselves.

The book will be available after the 16th of April when it makes it debut at the Daemons at Forty convention in Aldbourne Village.
