It’s All About Time for Richard Curtis

Richard Curtis to write new time travel movie
Other than a special episode of Blackadder to celebrate the millennium and a Doctor Who episode in 2010 (“Vincent and the Doctor”) Richard Curtis is a veritable newcomer when it comes to sci-fi – but this hasn’t stopped him developing a new time travel movie.
About Time is apparently in the preproduction stage with Working Title Films, led by Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan who has told The Hollywood Reporter they expect to enter production during the summer, with casting underway right now
Curtis is of course best known for Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill and Love Actually as well as working on the scripts of the Bridget Jones movies. He’s also scripted the current movie du jour War Horse.
The low-budget time travel story will also be directed by Curtis, whose previous chair credits include Love Actually and The Boat That Rocked.
