Red Dwarf: Audio Kryten!

Robert Llewellyn has been a regular in Red Dwarf since series three, playing Kryten, the robot who is as funny as he is likeable. Llewellyn even played the mechanical man in the horrible American Red Dwarf pilot, for better or for worse.

Now Llewellyn would like to share his experiences making the show in audio format as he has completed the audio book version of his 1994 memoirs The Man in the Rubber Mask.

The Man in the Rubber Mask Red Dwarf Robert Llewellyn

The audio will take you from Llwewllyn’s early career right through the production of Red Dwarf series five before it concludes with a insider look at the American pilot that might be infamous in terms of how bad it was.

Listeners can download the book in a chapter by chapter format or in a large MP3 file. And if you want to try before you buy, the first three chapters are free to listen to before you commit to buying the whole audio book.  The book is being sold at the low price of £4.99 and can be purchased here from Audioboo.

Plus as a bonus the subscription fee will allow you access to any future “Boos” from Llewellyn, which he promises will include an entire second audio book with all original material covering the production of the rest of the Red Dwarf series he has appeared in from Series six to the Back to Earth special, right up to the upcoming Red Dwarf X, which will be broadcast in September 2012 on Dave.
