Owning a first edition of a popular older book is like owning a piece of history, it feels amazing to hold a book that would become wildly popular or extremely influential in your hands. There is also of course the sheer collectors value and investment involved as well.

Marshall Rare Books is currently holding an E-Bay auction consisting of just that. All fourteen book are here from Casino Royale from 1953 to Octopussy and The Living Daylights, first published in 1966.
All of the books are original first edition hardcovers, not reprints nor book club editions.
One book, the first edition of Live and let Die, first published in 1954 has the added bonus of bearing the autograph of Kenneth Lewis, who was designer of the books original dust jacket.
