$4000 for James Bond Originals?

Owning a first edition of a popular older book is like owning a piece of history, it feels amazing to hold a book that would become wildly popular or extremely influential in your hands. There is also of course the sheer collectors value and investment involved as well.

If 007 is your obsession of choice and the above excites yo as well then how about merging the two by grabbing a complete set of the original, first edition Ian Flemming James Bond novels form the 1950s?

Marshall Rare Books is currently holding an E-Bay auction consisting of just that. All fourteen book are here from Casino Royale from 1953 to Octopussy and The Living Daylights, first published in 1966.

All of the books are original first edition hardcovers, not reprints nor book club editions.

One book, the first edition of Live and let Die, first published in 1954 has the added bonus of bearing the autograph of Kenneth Lewis, who was designer of the books original dust jacket.

If you want to own a book collection that would go on to inspire a generation of book lovers and film goers, you have to hurry up and pace your bid as the auction will end on the 1st September.

Bidding starts at £3,999.00 and let the best agent win!
