Throughout the years that comic books have been part of our entertainment media, many celebrities and public figures have made cameo appearances alongside our costumed heroes.
Names such as Muhammad Ali, Former US Presidents Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan, the rock band Kiss (Although you might argue that they were already dressed for such an event.) and such stranger choices such as Orson Welles and Ayatollah Khomeini have appeared for quick cameos in the land of pencil and ink.
Now it is talk show host’s Jonathan Ross’ turn, as he is set to appear in Knight and Squire issue number 5, as stated by one of Knight and Squire‘s creators, writer Paul Cornell:
“It’s an absolute pleasure to feature Britain’s most famous comic fan, collector and now professional in an issue of Knight and Squire, and thanks very much to Jonathan for being such a sport in allowing it to happen. I’m only sorry we haven’t given him powers and a costume.”
Artist Jimmy Broxton also had this to say about capturing Ross for comics:
“Capturing Mr. Ross’s boyish good looks and natural charm was an artistic challenge, getting his suit right, an artistic triumph!”
