New Chris Addison Comedy Trying Again [TRAILER]

First trailer has emerged for the new eight part comedy series starring Chris Addison, who co-created the comedy with his Thick of It partner Simon Blackwell. Collaborating with the partnership is co-writer Tony Roache (Fresh Meat, Veep, In The Loop), whilst Peep Show‘s Jesse Armstrong is on Script Editing duties.

Addison plays Matt, who is joined by EastEnders‘ (and notable Doctor Who not-quite companion) Jo Joyner as Meg. Holy Flying Circus and Murder Rooms‘ Charles Edwards plays Matt’s love rival, Ian and stand-up Alun Cochrane is Sam.

Trying Again is a warm and funny sitcom about trying to mend a relationship after an affair. It’s set in the Lake District and highlights the very real relationships between people who make mistakes, but live in the hope that love will conquer all.
