Rob Brydon promotes Small Man in a Book

Apparently the Welsh Wizard Rob Brydon once had a “fallow period” during which he had to get a “proper job”, a telesales position in Kensington.

Enough of the details, however. After all, Brydon’s going to tell you all about it (along with mistaking you for a Telegraph reader – sorry about that)…

Is working in telesales really failure though?

If you haven’t clicked play yet, the above

Yes it is. So get out now, right? You owe it to yourself.

Incidentally, if you haven’t clicked play yet, the clip above features Brydon using his own voice (mostly) reading 8 minutes of his memoirs, Small Man in a Book, currently available from Amazon for just £9, much less than the £20 RRP!
