Roger Moore “Persuaded” To Attend Anniversary Bash

The Persuaders was a short run television series in 1970 and 1971 that featured Tony Curtis and Roger Moore as two rich playboys out for fun and adventure. It has now been 40 years since the show was shown on ITV and a remastered Blu-Ray set that features all twenty four episodes in HD quality along with a bunch of extras will be released in September.

While the box set will be released on the 19th September, ten days before hand Sir Roger Moore will attend a Persuaders event Called The Time and the Place that will include a seventies costume competition, a showing of two Persuaders episodes picked out by Roger Moore himself, ‘Overture ‘and ‘Death In The Family‘. The original Aston Martin that featured in the show will also be displayed during the event, as well as a Q & A session with Sir Roger Moore himself.

Tickets for the event are on sale now from Network DVD for £40 and there is also The Gold Napoleon ticket package for £80 that includes an advance copy of the Blu-Ray set as well as a chance to have it signed by Roger Moore as well.
