Steve Coogan And Rob Brydon in The Trip to Italy [VIDEO]

Recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, The Trip to Italy is the follow up to 2011′s The Trip, in which Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan eat and argue.

Yep, it sounds dull, but factor in their abilities as mimics and comedians – and the fact they’re playing caricatures of themselves – and suddenly you have a hit on your hands, and on of the BBC’s best comedies of the 21st century. Oh, and Michael Winterbottom helms it, coaxing wonderful improvisation from the stars.

The clip above should give you a good flavour, in which the pair compare Michael-Caine-as-Alfred in Christopher Nolan’s Batman movies. Expect some unconvincing Christian Bale, too…

Expect the series on TV later this year.
